Last week, we hosted the first Marketing-Finance PhD Workshop, which was jointly organized between KU Leuven (Alexander Edeling) and Maastricht University (Thomas Post).
It was a great pleasure, to welcome so many bright junior and senior Marketing-Finance Researchers from all over Europe.
We were delighted to experience presentations from Marketing-Finance PhDs about various topics like:

- Customer Satisfaction’s Impact on Firm Performance during Economic Downturns by Britt Vancoetsem
- Marketing Analysts on Wall Street by Paul Hilfrich
- How Brand Equity Shapes Firm’s Engagement in Strategic Human Resource Management by Jan Kleinhans
- The Influence of Contextual Factors on Mobile Investment Decisions by Pauline Engel
- Exploring the Performance Impact of an Advanced Service Strategy by Patricia Roost
- Managing Reputation with a Focus on the Cultural Dimension by Jonathan Matzinger
- The Impact of Marketing Capabilities on Investor Relations by André Tomano, CIIA, CEFA
- The Impact of Nutritious Product Reformulations on Firm Performance by Sertan Eravci
In addition to the presentations, senior Marketing-Finance scholars acted as discussants and provided valuable feedback to the young researchers:
Big thanks to Simone Wies, Néomie Raassens, Alexander Edeling, Yves Van Vaerenbergh, Thomas Post, Anatoli Colicev, and Arnd Vomberg.
And finally, the icing on the cake was provided with an inspiring keynote by Anatoli Colicev about the future direction of the Marketing-Finance Interface!
We are already looking forward to the next workshop!
